Description
The U.S. Army high neck sweater, introduced in 1942, was used during World War II and the Korean War, and continued in use through the 1970s. Often worn under a field jacket or Mackinaw coat, this sweater, also known as a Jeep sweater, provided soldiers with essential warmth against the cold.
