Jean Prouvé created the first version of the Potence wall lamp for his own home in Nancy in the 1940s: a simple light bulb attached to a long steel swivel bar, held together by a steel wire. Considered a purist masterpiece of the designer, the lamp is reduced to the bare minimum to bring an industrial and creative vibe to any interior.
