Compared to the civilian version of the herringbone khaki pants that emerged after World War II, the original wartime herringbone was thicker, more textured, and more rustic.
These classic five-pocket replica are constructed with a felled seam, which was also a common sewing technique for the navy during the war. The button fly, the sharp lines, the high-waisted and slim-fitting cut, all create a refined but rugged look.
