In 1945, Charles and Ray Eames created a toy elephant in plywood. However, this piece was never mass-produced. A smaller version, the Eames Elephant (small), made of sturdy plastic, can be used as a child’s toy or as a decorative object whose friendly air adds a charming note to any environment.
The Eames Elephant is also available in a larger version, in plastic or elegantly molded plywood.

COMPOSITION
- Mass-dyed polypropylene, matt surface. Post-consumer plastic: refers to plastic materials, often single-use waste, previously used by consumers before being reprocessed to make a new product. The post-consumer plastics used by Vitra leave the factory as finished packaging, are purchased by consumers, then disposed of through the German “Yellow Bag” system before being reprocessed into new raw materials.
